BannerWomen brings a variety of websites together which attract a female audience, allowing both members and advertisers to rotate their banner ad throughout the network or, if they choose, to a certain targeted audience within the network. Who is Behind BannerWomen? BannerWomen is a division of WWWomen, the largest search directory of topics relevant to women online. WWWomen has won dozens of awards since it launched back in April, 1996 and has been featured in U.S. News and World Report as well as the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the best resources for women on the Web. WWWomen brings to BannerWomen the strength and experience of a proven track record working with women and with women's sites on the Web. How do I send in my Banner? To send your banner you can send it as an email attachment, or send the URL address by email to Contact Us and we will go get it online. The banner specs to follow are: gif format 8.0k or smaller 468x60 pixels What are credits/exposures? Credits/exposures are what make your banner rotate. Every time your own page hosts 2 banners from our network, you earn 1 credit/exposure, making our network a 2:1 exchange ratio, commmon to most banner networks. This means your own banner then has earned 1 exposure on the BannerWomen network, on another members' site. Your site is accruing exposures all the time. Bonus Exposure Program In addition to your site accruing exposures, BannerWomen awards free exposures each month as part of our member appreciation plan. 2000 extra exposures are given to homepage members and 1000 extra exposures are given to secondary page members, unlike most banner networks.
