More Effective Web Sites

Part of attracting more traffic to your web site is creating an attractive, interesting, and inviting web site. Give people a reason to come back! Because your site attracts a majority female demographic, one feature you can easily add to your site is a search form so your users can search on a large database of women's links right from your website. This, combined with a few recommended links from you, becomes a convenient and powerful resource for users visiting your site. Instructions for adding such a search form are below. We have also listed some useful links for background information, design ideas and useful tips for creating more effective web sites.

Adding a Search Form for Women's Links to Your WebSite

Simply add the code below to your HTML page(s):

<form method=post action="http://www.wwwomen.com/search/search.cgi" >
<IMG WIDTH=45 HEIGHT=45 SRC="wwwlogo.gif" >
<B>Search for: </B> <input type=text name="simple" size=30 value="" >
<INPUT type=hidden name="pageno" value="1" >
<INPUT type=hidden name="partial" value="partial" >
<INPUT type=submit value="Search" >
</form>

For Macintosh users: Download the small WWWomen graphic below by pressing on it with your mouse button and scrolling down to "save this image as" to save the file "wwwlogo.gif." Please do not call the graphic from our server.
